Back in 2006, I saw the movie, “What the Bleep Do We Know?” which talked about a series of experiments that a man named Dr. Masaru Emoto performed with water. He discovered that the crystals that formed in frozen water revealed some very interesting changes when specific written words were directed toward them. He found that water that had been exposed to loving words showed brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns, but water exposed to negative words formed incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors. That kind of blew my mind.
And then I thought of the fact that human beings are roughly 70% water. That’s when I got the idea that getting the word “POET” tattooed on my arm would positively influence the water in my body and help serve as a reminder to myself (inside and out) as to what I really am, and will always be throughout my life, no matter what changes I might go through.
So every time I look in the mirror, I’m reminded of my hobby, my passion, my career choice, and my purpose. The only problem is that I’m still trying to figure out what a “TEOP” is. LOL.
